On May 18, 2016, the Mississippi State Department of Health conducted their annual inspection of Bear Creek Water Association. We are extremely pleased to announce that we received a score of 5.0 in all three categories (technical, managerial, and financial). This is the highest score that a water system can achieve! We will continue to strive to bring you the cleanest water and best service possible.
On April 28, 2016, Bear Creek Water Association held a reception in memory of our friend and consulting engineer, James A. "Jim" Elliott. Jim passed away on January 19, 2016 at the age of 78. He had served as the consulting engineer for Bear Creek Water Association since its inception. We are forever indebted to him, and are grateful for his many contributions to the association. At the reception, the newly constructed engineering building on the Bear Creek Water Association campus was dedicated in his memory. See our photo gallery for pictures from the event.
